Deborah Wainwright
DNP, ANP-BC, APRN
Deborah Wainwright, DNP, ANP-BC, APRN is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and over a decade of experience in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. Since 2014, she has helped countless patients reclaim their vitality and take control of their health using a functional, root-cause medicine framework.
Deborah is the leading provider of hormone pellet therapy and BHRT in La Jolla, known for her personalized, results-driven approach. She integrates hormone optimization with lifestyle coaching, nutritional support, and natural therapies to help patients reduce dependence on medication and make empowered choices for long-term wellness.

Melissa Cosio
Lead Medical Assistant & Clinic Administrator
Melissa Cosio, a proud native of El Centro, CA, began her medical journey with a deep commitment to patient care and community health. After graduating from the Cal Regional Medical Assistant Program in 2016, she gained invaluable experience working in Orthopedics, Workers’ Compensation, and Medical Records. These formative years built a strong foundation in clinical operations and patient advocacy.
In 2021, Melissa discovered her passion for Naturopathic Medicine and began working closely alongside Deborah Wainwright, where her dedication and expertise quickly stood out. She became a phlebotomist in 2023 and now serves as the clinic’s Lead Medical Assistant and Administrator.
Outside the clinic, Melissa enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends, always bringing the same warmth and energy to her personal life that she brings to her professional role.
